How to buy a cable modem

For our High-Speed Internet service, your cable modem needs to be DOCSIS 1.0 compliant or higher.

As long as your cable modem is DOCSIS 1.0 compliant, it will register successfully on our system.


The modem should have an Ethernet modular connection jack and your computer should
also have an Ethernet 10/100 Network Interface Card installed. If your PC does not have
a NIC installed, a NIC can be purchased from one of our installers.
